Zhafir: Helmar Franz passes the baton to son Steffen
German maker of injection-moulding machines, Zhafir Plastics Machinery (Ebermannsdorf; www.zhafir.com) has named Steffen Franz and Bin Zhang as the company's co-managing directors. They succeed Helmar Franz, who has recently resigned as managing director. Prior to his new position, Steffen Franz had been a technical director at the company. With Zhang, who is a member of the family which owns parent company Haitian International (Hong Kong / China; www.haitian.com) the two new company leaders represent a generational process of change.
