Change at the top for TEPPFA
The European Plastic Pipes and Fittings Association (TEPPFA, Brussels / Belgium; www.teppfa.eu) has two new names assuming leadership roles. Members have elected Niels Rune Solgaard-Nielsen, CEO for the Pipelife Group (Wiener Neudorf / Austria; www.pipelife.com), as their new president. He succeeds Hans Telgen. The new TEPPFA general manager is Tony Calton from the Aliaxis Group (Brussels / Belgium; www.aliaxis.com) who succeeds Pierre Favot.

TEPPFA was founded in 1992 to represent manufacturers and national associations of plastic pipe systems across Europe. “We are actively involved in promoting the value and acceptance of plastic pipe activities for a sustainable future,” explains Calton adding, “Our work in the field of EU representation, standards, recycling and environmental assessments of plastic pipe systems has accelerated the awareness of their benefits.”
