Follow-up: New OPS plant to be built in Abu Dhabi / Completion scheduled for late 2013
Swiss-based Songwon Additives Technologies and Polysys Industries (Abu Dhabi / UAE) has announced Kizad / Abu Dhabi as the location of its new 7,000 t/y one pack systems (OPS) plant – for most recent coverage, see Plasteurope.com of 17.10.2012. The plant, whose capacity can be increased in future, is to be built by joint venture company Polysys Additive Technologies ME.
Songwon Additive Technologies expects to complete construction of the new facility within the next twelve months. The Swiss company is a JV between Polysys, Songwon Industrial (Ulsan / South Korea; www.songwonind.com) and Saudi Arabia’s Pan Gulf Holding (Al Khobar; www.pangulfholding.com).
