Extrusion business is reorganised into two operating units / Continued focus on product-orientated strategy
The extrusion business of Reifenhäuser Group (Troisdorf / Germany; www.reifenhauser-group.com) has been split into two independent operating companies to better focus on the group’s product-oriented strategy.

The activities of Reifenhäuser’s extrusion centre have been spun off into Reifenhäuser Extrusion Technology (www.reifenhauser-et.com), which will specialise in the development and manufacture of extruders and WPC lines and is headed by Tim Pohl.
The cast film business will remain within Reifenhäuser Extrusion, and has been renamed Reifenhäuser Cast Sheet Coating (www.reifenhauser-csc.com). The company specialises in the development and manufacture of cast film lines, polishing stack systems, coating lines, dies and winders. Jochen Hennes will continue to head up the business.
Both companies remain located at Troisdorf, the headquarters of the Reifenhäuser group, which now comprises seven subsidiaries in Germany specialising in plastics extrusion technology and extrusion components: Reifenhäuser Cast Sheet Coating, Reifenhäuser Extrusion Technology, Reifenhäuser Kiefel Extrusion, Reifenhäuser Reicofil, Reimotec Maschinen- und Anlagenbau, Reiloy Metall and Davo Polyrema.
