Alfred Stern joins Borealis Executive Board

Borealis (Vienna / Austria; www.borealisgroup.com) on 1 July 2012 appointed Alfred Stern as executive vice president for Polyolefins. He succeeds Gerd Löbbert, who decided to leave the company.
In his new position, Stern, who joined Borealis as senior vice president Innovation and Technology in 2008, will lead one of the company's core business groups focused on optimising the company's commercial and innovation capability to the benefit of the customer.
