Celanese appoints new chairman and CEO

On 2 April 2012, US specialty chemicals manufacturer Celanese (Dallas, Texas; www.celanese.com) announced that Mark C. Rohr has assumed the roles of chairman and CEO. The company board of directors had appointed Rohr as the successor of David Weidman, who will retire, in November 2011.
