Follow-up: Engineering polymers business expanded through Merquinsa acquisition
The acquisition of Merquinsa's (Montmeló / Spain; www.merquinsa.com) TPU activities by specialty chemicals manufacturer Lubrizol (Wickliffe, Ohio / USA; www.lubrizol.com) has been completed. The family owners of the Spanish TPU producer agreed to its sale in November 2011 – see Plasteurope.com of 09.11.2011. All Merquinsa products will now be integrated into Lubrizol's Engineered Polymers business.
