New corporate office in UK / Beer keg made of recycled PET spotlighted at Brau Beviale in Nuremberg
Plastic packaging specialist Petainer (Peterborough / UK; www.petainer.com) has moved its head office from Aš (Czech Republic) to Peterborough. The company with production facilities in Sweden, the Czech Republic and Germany said its aim is to build its worldwide business both organically and through acquisition.
Group CEO Nigel Pritchard said Petainer, bought by investors Next Wave Partners, WHEB Ventures, KBC Private Equity and senior management from Rexam (London / UK; www.rexam.com) for GBP 16m (EUR 17.8m) in November 2009 – see Plasteurope.com of 24.11.2009 – is “substantially increasing” its product range as well as developing its capability to deliver “complete turnkey packaging solutions.” At “Brau Beviale,” the capital goods exhibition for the beverage industry to be held from 9-11 November 2011 in Nuremberg / Germany, Petainer will spotlight its new award-winning beer leg made of recycled PET – see Plasteurope.com of 01.09.2011.
