“Chinaplas 2011” / 12 theme zones to assist buyers
Chinaplas (www.chinaplasonline.com) – the international exhibition on plastics and rubber industries – which is claimed to be the world’s third largest plastics and rubber exhibition, will be held from 17 to 20 May 2011 in Guangzhou / China. In preparation for the 25th Chinaplas event, organiser Adsale Exhibition Services (Hong Kong / China; www.adsale.com.hk) has introduced a series of new services for visitors.
A total of 11 countries/regions including Austria, Germany, India, Italy, Japan and Taiwan will occupy pavilions and the organiser is cooperating with the All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA, Mumbai / India; www.aipma.net) in re-establishing an Indian pavilion, representing the world’s third largest consumer in the plastics and rubber industries.

Three new theme zones to assist buyers in the sourcing process are to be set up, bringing the total to 12. “Rubber machinery & equipment”, “industrial services” and “bio-plastics and degradable plastics” zones will be established in addition to the nine original theme zones: “auxiliary & testing equipment”, “chemicals & raw materials”, “dies & moulds”, “injection moulding machinery”, “extrusion machinery”, “plastic packaging & blow moulding machinery”, “other processing machinery”, “semi-finished products” and “Chinese export machinery & materials”. The organisers said that over 20 leading enterprises have reserved space or confirmed their booth space in the “rubber machinery & equipment zone”.
A new website has been launched for “Chinaplas 2011”. A newly added search engine will allow visitors to conduct keyword searches of the website's content and the exhibitors’ data. In addition, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Italian, Russian and Arabic versions of the website have launched.
