Taking their existing cooperation to new levels Battenfeld Extrusionstechnik (Bad Oeynhausen / Germany; www.bex.battenfeld.com), Cincinnati Extrusion (Vienna / Austria; www.cet-austria.com) and B+C Extrusion Systems (Foshan, Guangdong Province / China; www.bcc-extrusion.com) have joined forces to create a new brand, Battenfeld-Cincinnati (www.battenfeld-cincinnati.com), which will become the world’s largest supplier of extrusion lines. The group officially made its debut on 9 April 2010. All three companies will continue to operate as independent entities, but all activity linked to extrusion line manufacture now will run under the new name. Also a member of the group is the Americal Maplan Corporation (McPherson, Kansas / USA; www.maplan.com).
Battenfeld-Cincinnati consists of three divisions. Whereas the construction division will focus on machines manufacturing profiles, PVC sheet and WPC, the infrastructure division will handle customer requests for anything related to plastic pipes. In addition, the group will also feature an independent packaging division for those engaged in this market sector.
