Assets and order book of UK thermoforming plant acquired from Rexam
Thermoformed packaging specialist Sharp Interpack (Bridgwater / UK; www.sharpinterpack.co.uk) has acquired the assets and order book of the thermoforming business based at Deeside / UK of Rexam (London / UK; www.rexam.com). No financial details of the transaction have been disclosed.
Rexam closed the Deeside factory, which employed some 70 staff, in May 2009 as part of its restructuring programme.
