New UK packaging plant opened in Gateshead
Scholle Europe (Breda / The Netherlands) has relocated its UK manufacturing plant for bag-in-box packaging to a new site in Gateshead in response to rising customer demand. The company, part of bag-in-box specialist Scholle Packaging (Northlake, Illinois / USA; www.scholle.com), said the new plant has enhanced manufacturing efficiency and improves its ability to meet customer needs.
The upgrade follows the recent doubling of Scholle Europe’s manufacturing and logistics operations in Breda.
