Kullman succeeds Holliday at DuPont helm
Ellen Kullman has been appointed president and a director of DuPont (Wilmington, Delaware / USA; www.dupont.com), effective 1 October, and chief executive officer, effective 1 January 2009. She succeeds Charles Holliday, chairman and CEO, who will continue to serve as chairman and as a member of the board until Kullman’s expected succession as chairman. Kullman, who has been with the company since 1988, most recently served as an executive vice president and a member of the company’s office of the chief executive, with responsibility for four of DuPont’s five business segments and its marketing and sales and environmental sustainability functions.
