New “Maxithen” additive masterbatches launched
Colour and additive masterbatch producer Gabriel-Chemie (Gumpoldskirchen / Austria; www.gabriel-chemie.com) has launched three new “Maxithen” additive masterbatches for use in polyolefins.
Maxithen HP 7A4000 AM is an antimicrobial masterbatch suitable for use in all polyolefins. Based on inorganic silver zeolite, it enables a controlled release of silver ions, preventing the growth of bacteria, mould and yeasts.
Maxithen PP 7A4060 NU is a nucleating agent for use in PP, offering optimum clarification.
Maxithen PP 7A4070 FR is a flame retardant masterbatch for PP, which offers high thermal and UV stability while avoiding corrosive decomposition during processing.
