Up to 60 jobs to go at rigid packaging unit
Huhtamaki (Espoo / Finland; www.huhtamaki.com) has commenced cooperation negotiations with the workforce at its rigid packaging production facility in Hämeenlinna / Finland to improve the profitability of the unit. The company said that 60 out of 700 jobs at the plant may be cut. It intends to achieve cost reductions through rationalisation of operations and changing the organisational structure of the business.
