Now “Future Advanced Composite Components” / Name change reflects Fischer exits / Capital increase agreed
Following the sale by ski manufacturer Fischer (Ried / Austria; www.fischer-ski.com) of its 47.5% stake in aircraft parts supplier Fischer Advanced Composite Components (FACC, Ried / Austria; www.facc.at) – see Plasteurope.com of 13.06.2008 – FACC's annual stockholders' meeting has agreed to the proposed capital increase of EUR 10m. Half the funding will come from the second major shareholder, Salinen Austria, which itself holds a 47.5% stake, the other half from the Linz-based takeover vehicle ACC Kooperationen und Beteiligungen established to acquire Fischer's holding.
With the change in the shareholder structure, Hannes Androsch succeeds Florian Keiper-Knorr as FACC supervisory board chairman. The name of the company also has been changed. FACC will now stand for Future Advanced Composite Components. The company is predicting stable earnings for fiscal 2008/2009, despite the marked decline in the value of the US dollar against the euro.
