AMCOR FLEXIBLES
EUR 25m plant to be built in Poland
The European flexibles business of Amcor (Abbotsford / Australia; www.amcor.com) is to invest EUR 25m in a new plant in Lodz / Poland. In addition to two new production lines, the company’s existing AF Polska flexibles facility in the city will move to the site, located in the Lodz special economic zone, in 2009. Gérard Blatrix, managing director of Amcor Flexibles Food, said that the new plant will be a key driver in the company’s strategy to develop its business in the central and eastern European market.
