LINPAC
New name for plastics division / Linpac Packaging better reflects business activities
Linpac Plastics (Knottingly, West Yorkshire / UK; www.linpac-plastics.co.uk), the largest division in the Linpac group, has been renamed Linpac Packaging. The change follows closely on the appointment of Ralf K. Wunderlich as president and managing director of the division on 1 January 2008 and takes effect immediately. The company says Linpac Packaging better represents the products and services offered by the division and allows it “to position the business more clearly as a best-in-class packaging solutions provider.”
Linpac Packaging has divisional sales of some EUR 940m, with 37 sites in 19 countries employing around 5,000 people. Its rebranding is said to be a continuation of the group’s focus to build stronger relationships with customers. A new logo will replicate the design and style of the brand identity of Linpac Allibert, the returnable transit packaging division.
