Acquisition of Plastohm concluded / Priority to improving margins in automotive operations
On 6 September 2006 Polimoon (Oslo / Norway; www.polimoon.com) concluded the acquisition of Plastohm Group (Villefranche, Oyonnax / France; www.plastohm.com) – see Plasteurope.com Web of 17.07.2006. All Plastohm operations will now trade under the name Polimoon Plastohm. As a result of this largest transaction in the company´s history, Polimoon will have annual sales in excess of EUR 500m.
In the next few months, the Norwegian company will concentrate on integrating the businesses and, above all, on increasing margins in the automotive operations. It will announce details of the measures needed to improve earnings at the beginning of November.
