CADENCE INNOVATION
Automotive supplier may withdraw from France / Capital requirements too high
Automotive supplier Cadence Innovation (Troy, Michigan / USA; www.cadenceinnovation.com) is evaluating strategic options for its French subsidiary, formerly Peguform France (Saint Marcel), operating under bankruptcy protection laws since 2003. Competing effectively would require capital investment that the company is "not necessarily prepared to make," said Cadence president and chief executive Jerry L. Mosingo.
Formerly known as Venture Industries, Cadence gained control of the French subsidiary in May 2005 when it acquired Peguform´s parent company in the Czech Republic – see Plasteurope.com Web of 01.12.2005.
The former Peguform France is an independent business entity that has only limited relationships with its US parent. The company has manufacturing operations at four French locations, including Noeux-Les-Mines, Pouance, Burnhaupt-le-Haut and Vernon Saint Marcel.
