COMPOUNDING
AMI guide to the European market 2003
The number of producers of thermoplastic compounds has risen slightly since the 2002 edition of the guide to the compounding industry in Europe compiled by market researchers Applied Market Information (AMI, GB-Bristol; www.amiplastics.com). This development, says AMI, has been driven almost entirely by new locations in central Europe, where a large number of western European countries are currently investing. The 8th edition of “AMI´s Guide to the Thermoplastics Compounding Industry in Europe” contains data on 679 compounders, 544 independent companies and 135 companies back integrated into plastics production.
