DYNO
Plastics business: "Exclusive negotiations"
Since the end of 1997, Dyno Industrier A/S (PO Box 779, N-0106 Oslo) has been in the process of finding a new structure to give its plastics business (industrial packaging, food packaging, components and systems) a stronger foundation. Alternative solutions, including cooperation with industrial partners, sale of a majority shareholding to financial investors and separate stock exchange listing, have been evaluated. Dyno has now given a financial investor an exclusive right of negotiation for the majority shareholding in Division Plastics. A possible sale is expected to yield a positive contribution to the Dyno profits. Dyno intends to maintain an ownership share of about 25% in the plastics business.
