Lifocolor Farben GmbH & Co KG (Reundorfer Str. 18, D-96215 Lichtenfels), a subsidiary of Grolman GmbH & Co KG (PO Box 240248, D-40091 Düsseldorf), has been present in the Czech Republic since April 1998 under the name Lifocolor s.r.o. (Olomoucka 89, CR-62700 Brno), producing masterbatches for the Czech and Slovak markets. In January this year, Lifocolor-Farbplast sp. z o.o. (ul. Dabrowa 21, PL-85147 Bydgoszez) was set up as a joint venture with existing Polish partners in whom Lifocolor had acquired a majority holding. Lifocolor produces pigment and additive concentrates for plastics and is also specialised in the colouring of engineering plastics.
