Keter Plastics acquires Allibert group
Israeli manufacturer of plastic household products Keter Plastics (www.keter.co.il), Herzliya, acquired French sanitary accessories producer Allibert (www.allibert.fr), Voreppe, in December 2003 for EUR 70m, including debt of EUR 50m. With the buy, the Israeli company is increasing sales to USD 600m and closing ranks with Europe's leading manufacturer of plastic household products. The deal, which will enable Keter to export to countries with which Israel does not have direct commercial ties, will add five plants in France and one in Belgium to Keter's 18 worldwide facilities.
