Menzolit to take over Peguform's Rastatt plant
Menzolit-Fibron (www.menzolit-fibron.de), Bretten / Germany, which claims to be one of Europe's leading manufacturers of semi-finished and finished products made of fibre-reinforced composites, has announced that it will acquire the Rastatt plant of insolvent automotive supplier Peguform (www.peguform.de), Bötzingen / Germany, recently sold to US private equity group Cerberus (www.cerberus.com), New York City. The plant employs 310. Menzolit is believed to be planning to invest a double-digit Euro sum in a fully automatic coatings line at the site.
