Low & Bonar lifts sales, earnings in 2004
Low & Bonar (GB-Dundee DD1 9JA; www.lowandbonar.com) increased its sales by 5% in 2004 against 2003 to GBP 201.7m (EUR 292m), according to preliminary figures. Operating profit of the company, one of the largest rotational moulders in Europe, improved by 9% to GBP 12.1m. CEO Paul Forman described the GBP 1.2m operating profit posted by the “Plastics” segment as the “best of the past three years.” By contrast, sales shrank by 6.8% to GBP 63m.
