Biesterfeld Plastic (www.biesterfeld-plastic.com), Hamburg, is new distribution partner for the Packaging & Industrial Polymers business group of DuPont (www.dupont.com), Europe: Le Grand Saconnex / Switzerland, for Germany and Turkey, since 1 July. The Turkish business is handled by Istanbul-based Plastik Ticaret. The DuPont packaging portfolio includes, among other products, the materials "Surlyn" (packaging resins), "Elvaloy AC" (acrylate copolymers) and "Elvax" (ethylene-vinylacetate co- and terpolymers). The agreement between DuPont and C.H. Erbslöh KG (www.cherbsloeh.de), Krefeld, as a distribution partner for industrial applications like cables, extrusion and compounding, is not affected.
