For the fourth year in a row, the Zahoransky Group (Todtnau-Geschwend / Germany; www.zahoransky-group.com) generated increased sales in 2017. The tool and machinery manufacturer secured orders worth EUR 123m, up 34% over the previous year (EUR 92m). With a rise of 50%, sales figures for machines grew the strongest. The Black Forest-based company produces, among other things, equipment for brush and broom production, dental hygiene and packaging. The result reflects the continuous expansion of its six production sites and worldwide sales and service branches, the company says.

At the end of 2016, the company completed the expansion of its production space to approximately 4,000 m² at its site in Logroño / Spain – see Plasteurope.com of 10.06.2015. In China, Zahoransky also strengthened its office in Shanghai following the closure of its Hong Kong sales and service office.

With its mould making, machinery construction, automation and medical technology business units, the company claims to be a complete supplier of injection moulding tools, brush and broom machines, packaging machines and system-independent automation solutions. The group has ten locations in Germany, Spain, Japan, China, India, Brazil and the US, with more than 700 employees.
