Injection moulding machinery, robots and peripheral equipment producer Wittmann (Vienna / Austria; www.wittmann-group.com) has strengthened its foothold in the growth market of Morocco. At the end of June, the company signed an agency contract with Smartindus (Tangier / Morocco; www.smartindus.ma), under the terms of which the latter will start selling Wittmann’s machinery portfolio in the North African country.

Three Smartindus staff will be engaged full-time in selling Wittmann products, with another two responsible for after-sales service on a part-time basis, the company said. The most important service in Morocco, the injection moulding machinery specialist said, is technical know-how and local support.
