Injection moulding machinery, robots and peripheral equipment producer Wittmann (Vienna / Austria; www.wittmann-group.com) has merged its marketing activities in Poland in one new subsidiary, Wittmann Battenfeld Polska (Grodzisk Mazowiecki). To that end, the Austrian company last year acquired its local injection moulding machinery sales agency, Battenfeld Polska. The new subsidiary is headed by former Battenfeld Polska manager Bogdan Zabrzewksi, and encompasses the group’s entire product portfolio, from robots and peripheral appliances to injection moulding machines.

Wittmann Battenfeld Polska employs 18 workers, responsible for sales and services in Poland – a country where Wittmann has seen “positive development.” The subsidiary joins the group’s 30 other local representative offices worldwide, including the one set up last year in Budaörs / Hungary (see Plasteurope.com of 27.08.2015).
