New sales and service subsidiary in Hungary / Production capacity at Mosonmagyaróvár to rise
Wittmann Battenfeld (Kottingbrunn / Austria; www.wittmann-group.com) will open a new sales and service subsidiary in Budaörs / Hungary at the beginning of September. The activities were previously co-located at the company’s production plant in Mosonmagyaróvár, located about 150 km west of the new site, which is in close proximity to Budapest. The new location will not only boast an enlarged sales and service organisation, numbering 14 staff members, but also paves the way for a production capacity extension in Mosonmagyaróvár.

The Budaörs office will be managed by Zsolt Rapolti and oversee all matters related to customer contact, including project planning, support, repairs and spare parts service. Meanwhile, the production site in Mosonmagyaróvár will now be revamped to enable it to manufacture the “EcoPower” machine series while continuing to produce the robot series with up to 12 kg load capacity and the “Tempro” basic temperature controllers.
