Wavin Trepak BV (PB 5, NL-7770 AA Hardenberg), a subsidiary of Wavin BV (PB 173, NL-8000 AD Zwolle) is parting from its parent company. The shares will be transferred to the management of Trepack and the holding companies Wadinko CV and ABN AMRO Participies BV, a company belonging to ABN Amro Bank NV. The sale of Trepack represents another step in Wavin's strategy of concentrating on its main business activities, which are the production and distribution of plastic pipe systems.
Wavin Trepak produces plastic bottle crates and transport systems, and is the largest manufacturer in this field in the Netherlands. Its customers include international companies in the drinks industry. The company has a considerable share of the Dutch and German markets. With 150 employees, it achieved a turnover of NLG 65m (DEM 58,5m) in 1995.
