TPO compounds for soft-touch applications

Thermoplastic elastomer producer VTC TPE (Manchester / UK; www.vtctpe.com) has launched a new family of thermoplastic olefin (TPO) compounds which it says are particularly suited to soft-touch applications. Marketed as “Dryflex” OBC (olefin block copolymer), the compounds are available in hardnesses ranging from Shore A 0 to 90 and can be injection moulded or extruded. VTC TPE said they are easily coloured and have good resistance to UV light and weathering.
