PVC expansion starts up in Germany
Vestolit (Marl / Germany; www.vestolit.de), a subsidiary of Mexichem (Tlalnepantla / Mexico; www.mexichem.com), has started up its PVC expansion at Marl – see Plasteurope.com of 02.06.2015. The additional line for 40,000 t/y of emulsion PVC (E-PVC) has made Marl the world’s largest single site for speciality PVC, the company said.
Initial product runs have been completed and tests have confirmed that quality standards and specifications have been met, Vestolit added. The project’s investment costs were not revealed.
