Distribution partnership for epoxy resins with Sika in the UK
German chemicals distributor Velox (Hamburg; www.velox.com) has signed an exclusive distribution contract for the Sika (Stuttgart / Germany; http://toolingandcomposites.sika.com) ranges of "Biresin" epoxy resin formulations and hardeners on the UK market. Sika's Biresin products are used in numerous manufacturing processes such as casting, low-pressure RIM (polyurethane), injection, infusion, pultrusion and monofilament systems.
The application sectors for the composites components include aeronautical and marine engineering, the automobile industry, sports and leisure as well as construction.
