VELOX
New European distributor for SK Chemicals' “Skygreen” range for cosmetic packaging
The partnership established between Korean chemicals producer SK Chemicals (Seoul; www.skchemicals.com/english) and raw materials supplier Velox (Hamburg / Germany; www.velox.com) at the beginning of 2010 now has been formalised with a signed agreement for Velox to become the European distributor for SK Chemicals’ “Skygreen” product range for cosmetic packaging applications.

SK Chemicals hopes the agreement will increase the presence of “Skygreen” in the European market, whereas Velox believes the deal with better position it to offer its customers a more comprehensive range of products in the cosmetic field.

According to the Korean group, “Skygreen” PETG resins are easily processed. Their characteristics include toughness, clarity, colour, chemical resistance and resistance to whitening.
