German PVC profiles producer Veka (Sendenhorst; www.veka.de) opened four new facilities in Poland in September 2020 at the Veka Polska PVC window profile plant in Skierniewice. A new production workshop, social facilities and a training and technical base are part of these new operations. According to reports, the additions will lead to the creation of dozens of new jobs.
The recently completed projects were officially commissioned on 4 September 2020 and include a new 6,000 m² production hall, which will be equipped with modern extrusion lines.
“We are introducing new technologies,” said Pavel Cieply, CEO of Veka Polska, which currently employs over 560 people. “Our employees work for this success, which is why it was important for us to improve the comfort of their work. The modernisation of the plant also includes creating a space for the presentation of Veka products.”
