VEGGOPLAST
Order for four new Wittmann-Battenfeld injection machines / Automotive components for Fiat
Italian automotive component manufacturer Veggoplast (Volpiano / Italy; www.veggoplast.it) has ordered four more injection moulding machines from Austrian machinery manufacturer Wittmann-Battenfeld (Kottingbrunn; www.wittmann-group.com). The new TM series toggle machines are to join the 28 other Wittmann-Battenfeld machines already in use at the Italian company’s production site. The new additions have a clamping force of 110 t, and come equipped with W702 robots and MAS2 granulators. In addition, they all feature the UNILOG B6 control system.

Founded more than 30 years ago by Oscar Veggo, Veggoplast produces automotive components, especially fastening elements, that are delivered exclusively to tier-1 suppliers of Fiat. The company also operates its own mould-making facility.
