Executive committee reorganised
Finnish plastic pipe manufacturer Uponor (Vantaa; www.uponor.com) has announced changes to its executive committee, including the departure of Jukka Kallioinen, executive vice president for development and technology, and the forthcoming retirement of Georg von Graevenitz, executive vice president for group marketing.
The company said Kallioinen, who was also responsible for the offering and business groups, is leaving the company as part of an organisational restructuring. Robin Carlsson will join Uponor’s executive committee, with responsibility for infrastructure solutions, technology development and European product and systems development, on 1 September 2010. Carlsson previously led Uponor’s infrastructure business under von Graevenitz, who will retire on a part-time basis from 1 October 2010, and completely towards the end of 2011. The company said Carlsson will leave the executive committee on 1 September, and work as an executive advisor until his retirement.
In the European building solutions business, Heiko Folgmann, executive vice president with responsibility for sales and marketing in central and eastern Europe, will gain responsibility for indoor climate solutions from 1 September. In addition, Fernando Roses, executive vice president with responsibility for sales and marketing in north, south and west Europe in the building solutions business, will gain responsibility for plumbing solutions.
