Ahead of the European Plastics Converters’ (EuPC, Brussels; www.plasticsconverters.eu) annual conference on 11 and 12 June 2024, the Polymers for Europe Alliance had invited its members to assess their polymer suppliers’ performance in an online customer-satisfaction survey. The results of the survey were announced at EuPC’s annual meeting, which took place in Brussels.

Alliance chairman Ron Marsh noted that members are now nearing the 1,000 mark. The spread of members across Europe is fairly representative of the plastics industry activity, he added, with German companies taking the lead at 22%, followed by Spain at 15%, and Italy at 13%.
Marsh announced the winners during a ceremony on the evening of the first conference day on 11 June. The following companies were awarded in eight polymer categories:
- Formosa Plastics for HDPE (overall score of 92%)
- Vinnolit for PVC (92%)
- Dow Chemical for LLDPE (77%)
- Neo Group for PET (83%)
- Repsol for PP (95%)
- Ineos Styrolution for PS/EPS (86%)
- Covestro for PC (76%)
- Mitsubishi Chemicals for EVOH (92%)
