With the acquisition of MTO Hose Solution (Newark, Delaware; www.mtohose.com), Unigasket (Villongo, Italy; www.unigasket.it) has strengthened its presence on the North American market. The Italian manufacturer of PTFE hoses and pipes made of PFA, FEP and PVDF, polyamide 11 and 12, and polyurethane announced that with the acquisition the turnover threshold of EUR 100 mn has been exceeded for the first time.

MTO Hose Solution is also focused on the production of PTFE hoses, with 2022 sales of just under USD 10 mn (EUR 9 mn). Unigasket, owned by president and founder Vittorio Calissi (25%) and private equity firm Palladio (75%), has already been very expansive in recent years: in 2021 the company had acquired Allegri Cesare, also an Italian supplier of media lines, and Dutch fluoroplastic specialist Polyfluor Plastic. The growth course is to be continued with further acquisitions, according to Unigasket.

The industrial hoses of the Italian company are used in various segments, for example in hydraulics, medical technology, the automotive industry, and in household appliances. At its headquarters in the north of Italy, the company has a plant of almost 16,000 m². Additionally, there are branches in Romania, Poland, and – through the takeover of Polyfluor Plastic – the Netherlands.
