Contract to provide engineering for Huafon's PA 6.6 plant in China
Huafon Group (Ruian City, Zhejiang Province; www.huafeng.com) has appointed Uhde Inventa-Fischer (UIF, Domat / Switzerland; www.uhde-inventa-fischer.com) to provide the engineering and technology for its PA 6.6 plant to be built in Zhejiang Province / China. Huafon is China’s largest producer of polyurethanes.
The 40,000 t/y plant will use UIF’s proprietary PA 6.6 batch process and will include batch polymerisation and continuous AH salt preparation and SSP (solid state polycondensation). The company will provide the licence, basic engineering, supply of equipment and supervision of the erection and commissioning activities for the project.
