Swedish polyethylene film producer Trioworld’s (Smålandsstenar; www.trioworld.com) recent acquisitions of two high-performance stretch film UK manufacturers, Eurofilms Extrusion (Telford; www.eurofilms.com – see Plasteurope.com of 16.03.2022) and Quality Films (Wolverhampton; www.quality-films.co.uk – see Plasteurope.com of 07.09.2022), have merged into one company to strengthen the film producer’s UK position.

Renamed Trioworld UK, the new company is headquartered in Telford. With a focus on hand stretch film, Trioworld UK is said to offer high-performance stretch film solutions for load security, distribution, beverage, food, and industrial packaging, with production sites in both Telford and Wolverhampton. The annual turnover of the joint company is quoted at around EUR 44 mn with over 130 employees.

Sonia Griffiths, who had been with Quality Films for more than 19 years in various positions, including managing director, has been selected to lead Trioworld UK.
