Effective 1 January 2018, Peter Hahn has been appointed business area president of Trelleborg's (Trelleborg / Sweden; www.trelleborg.com) Sealing Solutions and will be a member of group management. He succeeds Claus Barsøe, who has been in this position since 2003 and will next become executive vice president within the Sealing Solutions business.

Hahn is current president of Global Business Development, including global head of the aerospace and automotive segments within Trelleborg Sealing Solutions. Since 2001, he has held various senior positions in the business area, such as heading the Americas and Europe operations as well as being responsible for the area’s expansion in Eastern Europe. Before joining Trelleborg, Hahn worked in senior management positions at 4M Technologies, Leybold and Degussa.
