New additive masterbatches for packaging and greenhouse films to be showcased at K 2010
Israeli compound and additive manufacturer Tosaf (Afula; www.tosaf.com) will showcase an extended portfolio of functional masterbatches at K 2010, held in Düsseldorf / Germany from 27 October – 3 November. The new additives include what the company says are “particularly efficient” masterbatches for highly transparent PE and PP food packaging films as well as IR masterbatches for the extrusion of greenhouse films which Tosaf claims offer “excellent light transmittance and high thermicity”.

A joint venture between Megides Holding and the Ravago Group, Tosaf is expected to generate EUR 200m in turnover this year. The company recently commissioned a new plastics plant at its headquarters in Afula - see Plasteurope.com of 01.10.2010.
