Compounding and masterbatch company, Tosaf Ltd (Afula / Israel; www.tosaf.com), will expand production capacities from 70,000 t/y to 80,000 t/y by the end of 2004 using five extrusion lines made by machinery producer Leistritz (D-90459 Nürnberg; www.leistritz.de). Tosaf Compounds Ltd will use one of the machines to manufacture specialty compounds and additive masterbatches, the other four will be used to produce masterbatches at Kfar Yona / Israel and at Colloids Ltd (GB-L33 7SY Merseyside; www.colloids.co.uk). A joint venture of Megides Holding and the Ravago group (B-2370 Arendonk; www.ravago.com) Tosaf employs 420 and has production facilities at seven locations in Belgium, Germany and the UK– see PIE 01, 2004. Sales in 2004 are expected to reach EUR 110m.
