ABS for the European market / Capacity increase in Malaysia
Toray Deutschland GmbH (Friedberger Anlage 22, D-60316 Frankfurt), European sales company of Toray Industries Inc (Japan), has recently introduced the ABS compound "Toyolac" into the European market. This type of ABS has been produced in Malaysia since 1991. The commissioning of a second production line at the beginning of 1994 has increased capacity to 72,000 tpa. Including production in Chiba, Japan, the Toray group is now the largest Japanese ABS producer with a total capacity of 142,000 tpa.

"Toyolac" is an injection moulding grade, delivered in either natural or black. The range of ABS products in Europe will be extended by special products from Japan, including transparent ABS as well as permanently antistatic ABS.
