TICONA
Full range of engineering plastics now available directly in Japan
Ticona Japan (Toyko; www.ticona.jp) is now able to offer the entire range of the global group’s products to Japanese customers. Since moving to its new offices, the subsidiary of German engineering polymers group Ticona (Sulzbach; www.ticona.com) is in a position to directly sell all products in the portfolio except for “Fortron” PPS, said country director for Japan, Koji Ito. To spotlight the materials and capabilities available to Japanese plastics converters, Ticona is participating in the “2012 Automotive Engineering Exhibition” being held from 23-24 May in Yokohoma.

“In Japan and the rest of Asia, Ticona is strategically positioning itself to deliver the right material to meet our customer application requirements and the right people to deliver the best solution fast,” said Ito. The company’s global reach, extensive portfolio, and engineering capabilities enable it to work with customers in Japan and Asia at any stage in their process, he added.
