German-based engineering plastics producer Ticona (Kelsterbach; www.ticona.com) will extend its cooperation with distributor Resinex (European HQ: Ravago Distribution Center, Arendonk / Belgium; www.resinex.net) to Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Ireland and the UK. The portfolio includes nine high-performance polymers, including more than 400 modified grades.

Ticona originally extended its partnership with the distributor as part of the reorganisation of its sales and distribution concept for central and eastern Europe at the beginning of 2007. Its success has encouraged the company to widen the agreement to other countries in which Resinex is well established, said sales and distribution manager Gunther Reitzel.
