Netstal PET line supplied to leading Thai drinks company
Swiss plastics machinery maker Netstal (Näfels; www.netstal.com) has supplied a PET line to Thai Beverage (ThaiBev, Bangkok / Thailand; www.thaibev.com), one of the largest drinks companies in Thailand and the ASEAN region, selling beer, alcoholic and soft drinks, and water brands.
Having decided to set up its own PET-preform production and following a call for bids, Thai Beverage subsidiary BevTech chose the Netstal injection moulding system. "We are happy that we were able to beat off the competition with our technology that is superior with regard to performance and energy efficiency," commented Netstal CEO Renzo Davatz.
